Owen Walker

My name is Owen Walker. My parents are Mike Walker and Kelli Munroe. I have an older sister, Shelby Munroe. I grew up in Pictou (“Picktoe”) County, Nova Scotia. There, I attended three different schools from primary to Grade 11. I enjoy spending my extracurricular time playing sports. I played rugby and baseball, and the latter became my sport of choice. Growing up, I played summer ball for my home town. In Grade 10, I wanted to play a higher level of ball and tried out for a higher-level team, the Truro Bearcats. It was during my time with the Bearcats that I was noticed by Coach Zach Zinck and was offered a spot with the Badlands Badgers. I am currently billeted with the Hogan family, Lacey, Teejay, and Mia. I have felt like a member of the Hogan family since day one. I am included in family celebrations and trips and made to feel welcome always. I have committed to Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, Illinois, in August. I am a right-handed pitcher. My goal is to get into a good university and pursue finance.
