Lami Olalere

Hello, my name is Oluwabukunolami Olalere, but most people call me Lami. I am the first child in my family and the only girl. I somehow survived high school, and now I am graduating—yay me! 

I started kindergarten in Ghana, later moved to Nigeria, and eventually came to Canada, where I began Grade 10. I was homeschooled for that year before attending James Fowler High School in Calgary and then continuing my education in Oyen.

I enjoy binge-watching shows, listening to music, reading novels, sleeping, fashion, and most of all, eating candy. One of my favourite memories was planning for my first spirit week with my friends in Calgary. 

My future goal is to study psychology in university and eventually pursue a master’s degree in forensic psychology. I also hope to travel the world—so feel free to join me, haha! 

I am very grateful for my family, especially my mom, and my “annoying” brother, for always supporting and believing in me.
