Kit Klassen

I am the oldest of four siblings, and my parents are Buster and Gina. Our family farms and ranches are located at Big Stone. I have been blessed to grow up learning more about Jesus, the ranching and farming lifestyle, and the way we do things on the farm.

I enjoy taking part in branding, pregnancy checks, weaning, calving, and other ranch work. I have also been blessed to develop horsemanship skills and to ride with family and friends who have supported me throughout my journey in riding and in my walk with the Lord. 

Furthermore, I also enjoy playing basketball. I find it to be a fun and competitive sport that keeps you active, builds teamwork, and helps develop new skills. It also provides opportunities to strengthen my faith and let it shine through my actions. 

Along with these interests, I enjoy creating western artwork and attending an Ignite Bible study group in Coronation. At the moment I am working toward starting my own business, selling my artwork.

My plans for the fall are to attend a Bible school, either Mount Carmel in Edmonton or His Hill in Comfort, Texas, for one year. After that, I plan to pursue a career in Western art and hopefully start my own business. Most importantly, I want to continue growing in my faith and living each day for Christ.
