Emma Westerlund

Hi, I am Emma; my parents are Terry Junior and Liz Westerlund. I am the eldest of three younger sisters, Doug, Warren, and Leif. I grew up on a ranch in Esther my whole life. I started my schooling in New Brigden and later moved to Oyen Public School in Grade 3. I came to South Central High School in Grade 7 and now I am finally leaving. My favourite memories will always be when I would annoy my friends during class or when I made my friend, Jenny Kang, laugh really hard during a chemistry lesson, so we had to briefly pause for her to collect herself. I have been in 4-H since 2017 and developed a love for black angus cattle. I own a couple of my own cows and plan to continue growing my herd. I played volleyball and basketball through my high school years. I used to figure skate and dance when I was younger until around Grade 7. During the summer, you can find me in the field doing free labor for my dad and making hay for the winter. In wintertime, I am usually watching one of my brothers' hockey games or working the booth. I would like to thank my classmates for keeping every day interesting, my parents for supporting me and setting me up for a bright future, and my brothers for doing the jobs around home that I do not like doing.
