Search continues for missing 82-year-old
CONSORT, AB - Police are continuing an extensive search for an 82-year-old woman reported missing earlier this week, with confirmed activity placing her in central Alberta the night she disappeared.
Consort RCMP said Diane Cooper was last known to be in the Veteran area, between Coronation and Consort along Highway 12, at about 9:30 p.m. on April 6. She was reported missing the following day.

Investigators have followed up on numerous public tips and reported sightings, but none have been substantiated.
Police confirmed Cooper stopped for fuel at a gas station in Stettler on April 6. Officers have released an image of her at the location as part of the ongoing investigation.
There remains concern for her well-being.
Cooper is believed to be travelling with her dalmatian dog in a grey Toyota C-HR XLE with Alberta licence plate LVA978.
RCMP resources from across Alberta and Saskatchewan are involved in the search, including air services, the missing persons unit and multiple detachments. Local agencies and emergency partners are also assisting, and ground search and rescue teams are prepared to deploy if her vehicle is located.
Cooper is described as having blue eyes and white hair, with a slim build. She is about five-foot-one and weighs approximately 100 pounds. She wears eyeglasses.
