Oyen Eagles look to three-peat

By Your Southwest Media Group

The Fertile Valley Baseball League is back with seven teams in play for the 2026 season.

The back-to-back defending champion Oyen Eagles, the Kindersley Cubs, Klippers, Raiders and Stallions, are joined by the Rosetown Angels to the east and new to the league this year are the Kerrobert Red Dogs. The Red Dogs are taking the place of the Eatonia Wheat Kings, who will be idle for the 2026 season.

The season opened with three games on May 19, including two in Kindersley with the Cubs defeating the Stallions and the Raiders falling at home to the Eagles. The Angels welcomed the Red Dogs for their league and team debut.
