2026 Crossroads Beef Expo showcases excellence in the ring and community

The 2026 Crossroads Beef Expo was a tremendous success, bringing together breeders, youth exhibitors, sponsors, and beef industry supporters for a weekend filled with high-quality cattle, strong competition, and outstanding fellowship.

From the Pen Show to the Youth Show and the ever-popular Brisket, Wine & Cheese Mixer, the weekend highlighted the strength, dedication, and community spirit that defines the beef industry.

Pen Show Highlights

The weekend kicked off Saturday afternoon with the highly competitive Pen Show. Exhibitors impressed judges Kirk Goldsmith, Curt Goehring, and Kolby Heaven with exceptional quality, preparation, and attention to detail.

Brisket, Wine & Cheese Mixer a Crowd Favourite

The annual Brisket, Wine & Cheese Mixer once again proved to be a highlight of the Expo. Breeders, exhibitors, sponsors, and friends gathered to enjoy incredible beef and meaningful conversation.

Briskets were proudly supplied and served by breeder groups and associations, alongside the East Sounding Creek 4-H Beef Club.

Wine was generously donated by Good Angus – Mindy Good, 6S Liquor Sedalia, and Oyen Liquor Mart. Cheese was donated by TD Bank – Erin Logan & Kelly Toft, and gourmet mustard by Prairie Mustard of Rosetown, SK.

Youth Show: The Future of the Industry

Sunday’s Youth Show showcased remarkable talent, sportsmanship, and dedication from competitors across all age divisions.
