It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Marj Simpson May 6, 2019, from complications of a three year battle with cancer.

Honorata was born October 21, 1920, in southern Poland. She was raised with her nine siblings on the farm in eastern Poland in a small town called Wesolowka near Tarnopol (today Ukraine).

Richard was born January 12, 1933, in Bassano to Alice and Ted Wade. They resided on the family farm and he attended school in Gem. In 1936, his brother Jim was born, and in 1939 their dad joined the military and went overseas.

Geraldine Lois Vanstone was born December 27, 1956, in Calgary, Alberta to Lloyd and Lois Goodfellow.

April 14, 2019, Edith Berniece Smith died peacefully in Oyen long term care surrounded by family.

Tom was born January 16, 1959, in Empress, Alberta to Keith and Verna Shipley. He was the first Shipley grandson.

Julia was born July 14, 1926, to Catherine and Ignace Oszust of Esther. She died March 13, 2019, at the Oyen Auxiliary Hospital.

Audrey was the third child born to Wilfred and Jean Adams in Kindersley, Saskatchewan January 8, 1936, and was raised on the family farm near Pinkham.

Earl was born in Alsask, Saskatchewan October 5, 1928, to Wes and Mary Styles along with six other children.

Vera Marie Rude, nee Poeckens, was born January 6, 1930 and died February 27, 2019, surrounded by her family.

February 18, 2019, John Anderson Young Sr. of Grande Prairie died peacefully at the age of 89, surrounded by the love of his children.
