Marge was born July 18, 1926, in Alsask, Saskatchewan to Christina and Gilbert Crisford, joining her older brother Art. The family lived north of Sibbald on the now Jim Woods farm.

Jerome Jack Skappak, better known as Jerry, was born in Empress to Mike and Marie Skappak February 14, 1940, the sixth of seven children. He died suddenly and peacefully at home August 12, 2018, at the age of 78.

Victor Edward Kroker was born in Cereal April 24, 1943, and died peacefully in his home and into the arms of his Lord August 5, 2018. Vic was the sixth of seven children born to Peter and Leisa Kroker.

Justus “Jock” Efird, a resident of Valleyview died August 3, 2018, at Grande Prairie Care Centre, at the age of 90 years. He was one of three sons born to B.C. and Marie (Nygard) Efird who homesteaded 16 miles south of Oyen.

Brandon was born November 27, 1993, in Medicine Hat. He was a loving son, brother, father, friend and husband. His tragic death was a huge loss for everyone who knew and loved him.

Velma Doreen Sturm of Chinook died peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre ~ Long Term Care July 17, 2018 at the age of 86 years.

Delma Izetta Foot was born November 29, 1928, at Radway. She was the eldest daughter of Clayton and Tressie Stouffer. The Stouffer family moved from the Newbrook area to Esther in 1943.

Ida Heeg of Acadia Valley died at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice June 12, 2018, at the age of 89 years.

Kathleen Mary Bennett was born in Cereal, the only child of Jack and Grace Bennett. While they waited to find a suitable name for their new baby girl, Jack began calling her Paddy after a character in a book.

Ralph Svatos died peacefully June 05, 2018 at Continuing Care in Drumheller at the age of 86. Ralph was born May 26, 1932 at Bracken, Saskatchewan.

John Hoffmann was born February 16, 1923, the eldest son of Hajo and Etta in Ihausen, Germany. He clearly remembered the 12-day trip by ship to Canada with bitterly cold winds every day causing he and his mother to be seasick most of the trip.

Lois Miller, nee Wilkinson-Mitchell, was born in Marengo, Saskatchewan August 14, 1929. She attended school at the Burn Brea and Antelope Park Schools.

Joe left us peacefully on May 14, 2018 to continue his journey with the Lord.

May 6, 2018, Keith Hawking died quietly at the Kindersley Hospital, at the age of 88, with his daughters by his side.

John Franklin Rogers died April 29, 2018, at the age of 93 years.
