With Morgen taking on a larger role with the Town of Eatonia, this opens up the position for the right applicant!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, organize and oversee community recreation programs, events and initiatives.

• Coordinate seasonal operations including arena and pool programming.

• Oversee the planning, operation, and staffing of the arena kitchen.

• Managing bookings and day-to-day operations of recreation facilities.

• Identify and apply for grant funding opportunities.

• Promote programs and events through social media, local communications and community outreach.

• Work collaboratively with the Recreation Board, Town of Eatonia and community partners.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Experience in recreation, event planning, community development, food service, or a related field is an asset.

• Strong organizational skills and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a volunteer board.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with marketing or social media promotion is considered an asset.

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
