Braxton Bussing
My name is Braxton Bussing, and when I was four years old, my family moved from Calgary to Coronation to live on our family farm, sharing a yard with my grandparents. My parents, Tim and Candice Bussing, raised me alongside my two younger sisters, Bronwen and Georgia. I attended Coronation School from kindergarten through Grade 11 and also spent part of Grades 10 and 11 playing baseball as part of the Neutral Hills Academy. For Grade 12, I moved to Oyen to play baseball with the Badgers and have been fortunate to billet with the Caskey family this past year. Last summer, I had the incredible opportunity to represent Team Alberta at the Canada Cup in Fort McMurray. I’m passionate about sports—especially baseball, hockey, and golf—and I enjoy spending time with friends. This fall, I’ll be heading to Minot State University in North Dakota, where I’ll be studying health and physical education while playing baseball for the Beavers.
