Warren Peers School hosts Winter Olympics celebration in Acadia Valley

ACADIA VALLEY — Warren Peers School brought the spirit of the Winter Olympics to Acadia Valley last week, hosting its own games and celebrating athleticism, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Students competed under international banners, with Japan earning the bronze medal, Italy taking silver and Canada capturing gold.

Organizers praised the athletes for their strong display of sportsmanship throughout the event.

The school extended thanks to Neilson for providing Olympic-themed medal cookies for participants. Appreciation was also expressed to D., Jarvis and Skappak for organizing and setting up the event.

The Acadia Valley Recreation Club and Community Club were thanked for providing access to community facilities, and community members were recognized for coming out to cheer on the young athletes.
