Premier Danielle Smith to deliver keynote at Ag Connections conference

DUNMORE – Cypress County is pleased to announce that Premier Danielle Smith will deliver a keynote address at the 2025 Ag Connections Conference Presented by MNP, taking place Thursday, Nov. 13 at the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Grounds.

Now in its third year, Ag Connections has grown into Alberta’s largest professional development conference for primary producers, drawing hundreds of attendees from across Southern Alberta. This year’s conference theme, “Cultivating Resiliency: Thriving in a Changing Ag Industry,” highlights the importance of adaptability and innovation as producers navigate evolving markets, technology, and industry challenges.

Premier Smith’s keynote and audience Q & A will open the conference, setting the tone for a full day of learning, discussion, and connection.

“We are thrilled to welcome Premier Smith to Ag Connections 2025,” says Cypress County Reeve Dan Hamilton. “Her participation underscores the importance of agriculture in our province and provides producers with a unique opportunity to hear directly from Alberta’s Premier.”

In addition to the Premier’s keynote, the event will feature:

  • Breakout sessions and expert panel discussions on emerging trends in cattle and crop production from over 20+ speakers

  • Keynote sessions with Jessica Holmes, comedian and mental health advocate, and Shaun Haney, founder of RealAgriculture

  • A tradeshow with more than 50 exhibitors

  • Networking opportunities, door prizes, and meals included with admission

Tickets are $75 and include two meals, access to all keynote and breakout sessions, and the exhibitor tradeshow. Register now at www.cypresscountybusiness.ca. Registration closes Oct. 31, or earlier if the event sells out.
