FCSS celebrates Seniors with 50’s Ice Cream Parlor

About 50 people of all ages dropped into the Oyen FCSS Community Centre on Main Street to celebrate our seniors at a 50’s Ice Cream Parlor on June 4 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Dressed in fashions from the ‘50s, Family and Community Support staff greeted folks. The menu included sundaes, floats and banana splits. Before or after enjoying the treats folks could take selfies picking from the props on a table. The thoughtful decorations and period music set the stage for an enjoyable afternoon.
