YOUNGSTOWN - More than $90,000 in community funding will be distributed to 13 organizations during the Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta’s 2026 Spring Community Grant Presentations on May 20.

The event, hosted on behalf of the Prairie Crocus Community Fund, Lanfine Wind Community Fund and WestMET Community Fund, will take place from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Youngstown Community Centre.

The grants support projects across the catchment area of Special Areas 2, 3 and 4, as well as the Municipal District of Acadia, with funding aimed at strengthening local programs, services and community initiatives.

Organizers say the presentation event offers an opportunity for residents, stakeholders and media to attend, connect with recipients and celebrate the impact of community-led investment in the region.

An RSVP is requested as refreshments will be provided. A full list of grant recipients will be released following the event.
