Acadia Municipal Library: February is Love Your Library Month!
By Elsie Patterson
Library Manager
February is Love Your Library Month! Visit the library, write down what you love about it, and be entered into a draw. The paper hearts you fill in will be used to complete the bulletin board display.
Congratulations to the young lady who won January’s monthly draw!
The library is hosting a weekly craft starting on Tuesday, February 26, lasting for four weeks. It will take place after school from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. The whole family is welcome to join the fun!
Join us on February 24 at the library to watch Aladdin; the viewing will last from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Free popcorn and juice will be provided.
On February 17–19, the school may be closed, but the library will still be open. Feel free to stop by and read a book, relax, or play a board game. Take advantage of the table space for activities. We have colouring pages and craft supplies available. The perpetual puzzle is still ongoing.
In addition to the following new books from Marigold, the books Warren Peers School purchased at the book fair have also arrived!
Adult Fiction: Mate by Ali Hazelwood and The Amalfi Curse by Sarah Penner.
Adult Nonfiction: Change Your Brain, Change Your Pain by Daniel G. Amen and Diary of a Doc by Major (Ret.) Darrell Menard.
Early Readers: Meet the Descendants; Meet the Zombies and Friends (two books in one).
