Acadia library plans summer movie nights and new large print titles

We invite you to join us on June 16th at the library to watch Fly Away Home. Viewing will last from 3:30 until 5 p.m. Free popcorn and juice will be provided.

The library will be closed on July 1st for Canada Day, as well as the last two weeks of July for cleaning. We close July 15th and reopen on Tuesday, August 2nd.

The library will continue the Movie Night event into the summer. We invite you to join us on July 14th to watch Super Mario Bros. the Movie, and on August 18th to watch Gabby's Dollhouse the Movie. Viewing will last from 3:30 until 5 p.m. Snacks will be provided.

The library's Large Print Collection has been refreshed, and the following are the new books added to our shelves.

Adult Fiction: The Sister of Book Row by Shelley Noble, Blood & Roses by Callie Hart, Vows & Ruins by Helen Scheuerer, and Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

Juvenile Fiction: Briar Wood by Natalie Hyde.

Picture Books: When Tad Kicked Vlad by Julian Gough and Ross Collins.

Board Books: Wiggly Worms by Tinna Guo.
